A peaceful lesson at last!

A few weeks ago I blogged about Sweet-Pea's skating lesson, and how frustrating it was with all those young kids (a.k.a. ice mice) around. They were not only distracting, they were causing other more professional skaters to have to stop in mid-routine...something which could actually cause them to get hurt. Sweet-Pea's coach comes to this rink specifically to teach Sweet-Pea and another woman, so her time is valuable! Well, after talking about it last week, we were able to switch lessons to another day - yipee!!

Here they are...Sweet-Pea (in pink) working with her coach (center). The other woman (right) warming up for her lesson in the rink without any distractions!! They had the entire rink to themselves!!! Woo hoo!!

See how quiet it was? They got so much more accomplished and Sweet-Pea was able to practice more difficult moves. She is now learning to spin. I'm so proud of what she's accomplished already in just 6 months. I can't wait to see what's in store for the next 6! Let's just hope the ice mice don't find us!!! =)
