I stumbled on her blog not too long ago and read quite a bit of it. She has been through so much in recent years...leaving her home state of Louisiana just before hurricane Katrina hit, and more recently...losing her best friend...her beloved husband, in a horrific automobile accident! She's got a wonderful family who are there to support her, and she clearly loves the Lord! Pop in on her blog sometime and share some encouraging words.

I have been reading Fee's blog for a while now and I not only love her sense of humor, but the way she talks so lovingly about her family. You know that she has a huge heart for her family, friends, her country and most importantly, the Lord. Congratulations Fee, you've earned it!!!

There are so many blog awards out there already, but I've decided to create my own for those blogs that I personally think are extra special.

Introducing the "Barton Cottage Beautiful Heart, Beautiful Blog Award".


The first award goes to (insert drum roll here): Beth, over at Pages of our life. I only recently stumbled upon her blog, but instantly I knew that she has a heart for her husband, her 2 beautiful boys and for Christ. She is a homeschool Mom who loves to share what her boys are learning at home, and her photos are simply gorgeous! Congratulations Beth on being my first 'victim'...ahem...I mean on being the first award receiver.
