Here we go again!

Once again we're getting ready to leave home to let another potential buyer look at it. I have to say...the more people that walk through my home, the creepier it gets. When we get back home, it's so weird thinking that people were walking all over our home, looking in our cabinets, opening closet doors etc. etc. Those are the things I KNOW they do. I figure that when it's just a one on one (Realtor & client), they don't go snooping that much, but when we have an open house - like we're having tomorrow, who knows what they're looking at!?! I feel so violated. It's an awful feeling.

Anyhow...this morning as I was continuing to clean up...vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms etc. I smelled something all too familiar these days...something from our lovely dog. Yup - POOP! He decided to dump one right on the bottom stair which you see (and smell) right when you walk in the door. Lovely huh? He also left us a little present last night as we were getting ready to take him outside....this time it was the other end. I think he knows something's up. He knows that his world is turning upside down and he doesn't like it one bit. This is his home and he's not going to stand for this nonsense!!

I found out more information on the previous 'potential buyer' that came through our home 2 times. They had absolutely NO intentions of buying! That's right...they only wanted to look at our home 'just in case' they wanted to list theirs - to see their competition! Can you say UNBELIEVABLE?!?!? I was so mad at their Realtor for putting us through all that craziness. Today's Realtor is different, so we're hoping that these are serious buyers. Only time will tell.

I'm trying to laugh about all that's going on around us. Being stressful hasn't been working for me, so I decided that I'm going to laugh when something goes wrong. Knowing that God has us in the palm of His hand helps! He's probably laughing as well, especially when we stress over the little things.

So, today we're headed out for an hour or so. Who knows what will happen. I just hope that the poop smell is gone, and that the new buyers LIKE dogs - just in case it isn't! =)
