My comforter, my all in all!!!

I'm not a huge fan of singing worship songs in church, mostly because they get monotonous after a while when the chorus is sung over and over and over and over...you get the point. I guess I'm a bit old fashioned because I still love singing hymns! There is one song that I absolutely love though..."In Christ Alone". I love it not only for the music, but for the words. Read them and see what you think...

My favorite version is sung here on YouTube. I couldn't find this version on GodTube, sorry. I like it because of the musical style and how it's sung - not because of the video itself.

Anyhow, I just wanted to share it since I've been listening to it all evening. My Dad is not doing well, and I know that God will soon be calling him home. Of course I'm sitting here getting all emotional while listening to the song, but it's also giving me such comfort. God is good and I know that Dad is in His will. When the time is right, Dad will finally be 'home' and one day I will get to see him again for all eternity!
