About Me...

God has blessed me with a dear husband that I have been happily

married to for over 21 years now. We have been entrusted with 2 beautiful gifts from God…our children whom we adore. Zachary is 20, and Hannah is 14.

We have been homeschooling for 16+ years now, and we are just as passionate about it now as we were from the very beginning.  I also have a photography business which I enjoy doing 'on the side'.  Come visit www.interludephotography.com to see my work.

Without God in my life, I would be totally and completely lost! He keeps me sane, gives me strength for each new day and loves me unconditionally!!!

I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy posting. It's more of an outlet for me...and a way to journal about our family and our homeschooling adventures.

UPDATE:  This blog began many years ago when my kids were younger.  Since then Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have taken over, and well, my blogging just went out the window.  I'm hoping that I can renew my passion for writing here, so I can keep the memories of our fun family times alive.  I've missed out on SO much, but hopefully I'll have new and exciting things to blog about as time goes on.

My passion:

Photography is simply a way to capture a moment in time. God has created a pretty amazing world filled with beauty and mystery. My business began about seven years ago. Since then, I have studied photography and have grown very passionate about capturing those special moments that seem to come and go so quickly. Life is short, and photography is a great a way to make time stand still, even if only in pictures.
